candidate has performed 8 invited presentations at different Universities and R&D centers, such as
Uppsala University (Sweden) or Copenhagen University Hospitals (Denmark). The holder completed
a master’s degree on Research Methodology, Design and Statistics in Health Sciences at the
Autonomous University of Barcelona (https://goo.gl/kyHX21). The holder has obtained 11
competitive grants, including the Introduction to Research Fellowship (JAE-Intro; CSIC, 2010), the
Collaboration Fellowship (Spanish Ministry of Education, 2010), and the University Professor

activity and fitness in relation to chronic diseases, including morbid obesity, cardiovascular disease,
rheumatological diseases and breast cancer. The holder has been the Principal Investigator of 2
Competitive Research Projects, one related to the effects of exercise interventions on ovarian
function in morbid obese women and another to the effects of resistance training combined with
physical activity on breast cancer outcomes.
